BIND OR BREAK

There's a moment right at the start of strain, before anything is decided, where you still get to choose. Hide the seam or honor it. Pretend it isn't there, or fill it with gold.

I've worked with that choice literally. Concrete pieces, unplanned cracks, and instead of smoothing them away, I filled them. Let the gold sit in the break and become part of the story. This painting comes from that same instinct, just on canvas.

Because what cracks isn't always what fails. Sometimes the fracture is what gives a thing its character, its proof of life, its reason to keep looking.

Bind or Break lives in that fragile in-between. Not as a verdict, but as an invitation. To look at where something split open in your own life and ask: is there a seam here waiting to become a story?
