We learned to live with the cracks, calling them differences, calling them time.
But every fracture is an opening - to hold darkness, or let in the light.
The fracture isn't the breaking of us. It's where the seam becomes the story.
Bind or Break lives in the fragile moment when connection begins to strain, when something could either hold together or come apart. It's about the choices that decide whether we hide what's cracking or let the seam show. With others. With ourselves. With where we are as a culture.
The title sounds like a binary. The painting isn't one. What we choose to repair, and how visibly we let it show, is part of what makes us whole.
